Responsibilities

  • Assist the Payroll Manager in all areas of payroll processing.
  • Research payroll tax questions from employees and agencies.
  • Review quarterly tax information.
  • Prepare international payroll worksheets.
  • Review employee workflow information in the HRMS system to ensure proper tax jurisdiction setup.
  • Review periodic tax reports and files.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with the review of the annual tax reconciliation.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Human Resources, and Service Delivery personnel.
  • Review and balance payroll batch information, including time clock entries, bonus entries, and other compensation entries.
  • Review employee master file information to ensure applicable work state taxes and resident state information are calculated correctly.
  • Review workflows for employee direct deposit and withholding changes.
  • Review basic calculations for each payroll.
  • Assist in balancing payroll and reviewing exception reports.
  • Create payroll worksheets for established international countries.
  • Review quarterly payroll reports from the tax vendor.
  • Create compensation ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Five years of related payroll experience in a multi‑jurisdictional environment.
  • Preferred candidate has or is working toward a CIPP qualification.
  • Intermediate skills in Workday or similar payroll software.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and internet navigation/research.
  • US Work Authorization: Applicants must have work authorization that does not require future visa sponsorship.
