We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Student Engagement Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
About the role:
The School Engagement teacher plays a vital role in fostering positive student engagement, pastoral care and promoting social emotional development for students with a focus on early intervention, building strong relationships with students and families and implementing evidence-based practices to support all students to engage positively.

Responsibilities:
- Foster positive student engagement and provide pastoral care to support social-emotional development.
- Implement evidence-based practices to support all students to engage positively, with an emphasis on early intervention.
- Build strong relationships with students and families and collaborate with colleagues and the parent community.
- Support diverse learners and adapt teaching practices to create inclusive learning environments.
- Promote and uphold student safety, wellbeing, and Catholic values within the school community.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or eligibility for registration.
- Commitment to contemporary teaching practices and ability to adapt to a diverse range of learners.
- Evidence of ability to work in partnership with families and the wider school community.
