We are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to start immediately.
Start Date: 1st June 2026
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 + HP to £14.00 + HP
Job Purpose: To support the Colleague Services Coordinator by providing operational facilities support across the Aviva estate, delivering a high standard of workplace services and ensuring a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment. The role supports the day-to-day running of the building, ensuring all services meet contractual requirements, client expectations, and Mitie standards. This aligns with the wider objective of ensuring facilities operate efficiently and in full compliance with service specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of all FM services across the site (cleaning, meeting rooms, waste, post, etc.)
- Carry out Soft Service reactive tasks and requests to ensure smooth operation of the building
- Set up meeting rooms in line with client requirements and service standards
- Ensure all workplace areas are always maintained to a high standard
- Report and log service issues via CAFM/helpdesk
- Provide front-line support to Aviva colleagues and visitors
- Deliver a “high-standard” workplace experience
- Assist with queries relating to event bookings, and facilities services
- Proactively resolve issues and escalate where required
- Follow all Mitie and Aviva health & safety procedures
- Carry out basic checks and report hazards or defects
- Ensure compliance documentation is maintained and available
- Support audits and inspections
- Liaise with contractors and service providers on site
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Assist with stock checks and consumables management
- Support delivery of projects and minor works
- Assist with porterage and logistics tasks
- Support events, moves, and changes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of site
- Support other FM teams where required (cleaning, reception, etc.)
- Manage on-site Mitie Asset Register
- Stock control and storage management of stationery provisions for events
