Job Vacancy – School Cleaners Required Location: Beech Road, Malling, Kent, ME19 6DH Job Title: School Cleaner Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm Total Hours: 15 hours per week Contract Duration: 12 weeks Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026 End Date: Sunday 24th January 2027 Job Description We are currently recruiting reliable, hardworking and experienced cleaners to join our cleaning team at a school in Malling, Kent. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all areas of the school's facilities. Duties and Responsibilities: * Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas. * Cleaning toilets, washrooms and staff facilities. * Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors. * Dusting and wiping down surfaces. * Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately. * Ensuring all areas are clean, safe and hygienic. * Following health and safety procedures. Essential Requirements * A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential. * Applicants must be registered with the DBS Update Service. * Previous cleaning experience is preferred. * Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. * Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. * Able to work Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
