We are recruiting a HR Administrator to join a busy Shared Services team on a temporary basis, with the strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. This position is ideal for someone with solid HR administration experience who can confidently manage the employee lifecycle, produce accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with candidates.
You will play a key role in supporting the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is produced to a high standard and returned promptly.
Key Responsibilities- HR Administration & Documentation
- Produce employment contracts, offer letters, onboarding packs, and other HR documentation
- Use template mail merges to generate accurate and professional letters
- Ensure all documents are formatted correctly, error‑free, and aligned with company standards
- Maintain trackers and follow established HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Support with leaver letters (advantageous but not essential)
- Manage the onboarding workflow from offer to start date
- Contact candidates to confirm receipt of documents and ensure timely return
- Provide clear, professional communication to candidates at all stages
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records within Select HR
- Follow HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Work independently once trained, managing your own workload effectively

- Strong HR administration experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator, comfortable calling candidates
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word (mail merges)

- Experience producing leaver letters
- Exposure to Select HR or similar HRIS
- HR Advisor‑level capability (though role is paid at HR Admin level)
