About the Role: You will be an integral part of the RELX Talent and Capability (T&C) COE Leadership Team. In this role, you will serve as the Head Talent Partner to the RX business and HR leadership team. You'll take ownership of the delivery of the T&C COE strategy and ensure alignment with divisional priorities to enhance capability and performance. You will also represent the COE on your divisional HR leadership team and ensure talent solutions and development initiatives are effectively integrated into business goals and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders to identify and implement Talent and Capability approaches that support RX's business objectives.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and able to articulate the breadth and depth of RX businesses and key commercial drivers.
  • Advocating and implementing RELX leadership and development programs within RX focusing on elevating manager capability, shaping high-performance RX culture, building a strong talent pipeline of future leaders.
  • Representing the needs and interests of RX in RELX-wide T&C discussions and initiatives, ensuring that final outcomes are relevant, accessible and high-value with a compelling RX narrative.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous growth and curiosity.
  • Utilizing data and metrics to monitor the quality, effectiveness and overall user experiences of talent initiatives within RX.
  • Co-ordinating all activities for RELX Talent Review with business leaders and HR partners to identify critical positions, talent readiness and succession pipelines.
  • With leaders, support strategies to address readiness gaps, both technical and behavioural thus enhancing purposeful careers.
  • Driving a culture of feedback and recognition to drive business outcomes and a meaningful employee experience.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the global HR organization to ensure integrated and aligned approaches for employees and leaders.
  • Managing the overall divisional training plan, being accountable for categories 1 & 2 budget and monitoring category 3 - non T&C training spend.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive high volume administrative and autonomous tasks to Tier 0 and 1 support.

Requirements:

  • Recognise and incorporate the voice of the business when designing, delivering, and embedding talent practices within RX.
  • Advocate, educate, and influence senior leaders across various expertise areas within T&C scope.
  • Focus on business transformation and people-centric approaches.
  • Operate and lead across different geographies and industries, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale, highly visible talent initiatives.
  • Maintain a client-centric approach, adept at building relationships with executive and senior leadership teams, cross-functional teams, and critical stakeholders.
  • Understand and interpret RX business challenges and opportunities, prioritising and aligning T&C support accordingly.
  • Being future-focused, recognising the impact of AI and other global trends on our work and roles, and partnering with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify the upskilling and shifts in focus that may be required in response.
  • Thoughtfully engage in outcome-focused conversations, bridging T&C solutions with the culture, performance and objectives of the business.
  • Apply critical strategic and commercial thinking to continuously improve performance in the role and be recognized as a thought partner to senior leadership team.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide perspective on divisional activities while representing a strategic COE position thoughtfully, resolving differences for shared positive outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrate an educational background that reflects cognitive ability, a commitment to personal development, and lead with curiosity, integrity, and strong personal resilience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, performance management and organisational development.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent strategies.
  • Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Workday.
