About The Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of exhibition space, sponsorship, and media opportunities to the most sought‑after golf resorts, golf clubs, hotels, travel suppliers and destinations around the world. This role focuses on value‑based selling, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions through our industry‑leading events. You will negotiate terms, understand market trends and customer needs, and help clients achieve their business objectives while contributing to this event and the wider portfolio of events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets across face‑to‑face and digital channels.
- Use data‑driven insights to inform decisions and demonstrate value to clients.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and sharing industry best practices.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to showcase event participation benefits.
- Negotiate contracts with exhibitors and sponsors to maximise value.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities through networking and market research.
- Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline reporting in Salesforce.
- Collaborate across teams (marketing, operations, finance) to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales within a competitive, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to progress the sales process effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with creativity in sharing ideas.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders and cultures.
- Highly organised, entrepreneurial mindset with strong prioritisation skills.
- Comfortable using data and technology to drive decisions and demonstrate value.

- Experience in international markets; knowledge of Golf or Golf Tourism is desirable but not essential.
