This role is a Data Delivery Lead position tackling a complex upgrade challenge. Over time, heavy customizations have made it difficult for customers to adopt new product versions. The lead will coordinate a strategic plan with engineering to streamline the upgrade path, ensuring customers can access the latest features, reducing churn.

Job Overview

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Delivery & Execution: Partner closely with Data Architects and Data Engineers to orchestrate the end-to-end development of RWS' new Enterprise Data Platform and deliver the wider data strategy. Drive the onboarding and active adoption of the new platform across different RWS business units and technical teams. Act as a platform evangelist, establishing self-service enablement materials, user training, and documentation to maximize business ROI.
  • Agile Delivery: Own and optimize the Agile delivery function, driving planning, refinement, standups, and retrospective ceremonies.
  • Stakeholder Bridge: Mediate between technical teams and broader business stakeholders, translating complex data/architectural progress into clear business milestones and executive reporting.
  • Skills & Experience
  • Enterprise Platform Delivery: 3+ years of experience managing the delivery of large-scale cloud data platforms (e.g., utilizing Databricks, Azure, AWS, or Snowflake environments).
  • Agile Project Leadership: Proven background acting as a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Technical Product Owner for high-performing engineering and data architecture teams.
  • Proven experience in platform change management, developer enablement, or user-adoption strategies for newly launched enterprise tools.
  • Ability to foster user engagement through training, workshops, and user-friendly documentation.
  • AI/ML Program Exposure: Experience delivery-managing data pipeline readiness, ELT/ETL architectures, and data preparation specifically geared toward AI model integration.
  • Technical Fluency: A strong conceptual understanding of modern data ecosystems, data warehousing, pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow), and data governance standards.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration between technical developers and non-technical roles.
