Job Purpose

The Training & Learning Manager will lead the planning, coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of learning initiatives supporting RWS' migration from on-premises infrastructure to Cloud-based platforms. Working across a large-scale technology transformation programme, this role will ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge required to adopt new Cloud technologies and ways of working. The role is responsible for overseeing Cloud-related training, managing external training partners, tracking learning outcomes, and establishing a sustainable long-term learning approach for business-as-usual operations.

The successful candidate will combine strong Learning & Development expertise with excellent stakeholder, vendor and project management skills, ideally gained within complex technology or transformation environments.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule Cloud-related training across multiple workstreams, technologies and stakeholder groups.
  • Assess training needs and validate learning recommendations against business and programme requirements.
  • Manage third-party training providers delivery of training. Monitor learner participation, completion and adoption metrics, proactively driving engagement and training completion.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and completion rates implementing continuous improvements as required.
  • Communicate training plans, progress, risks, outcomes and key metrics to programme stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Ensure learning content is maintained, accessible and effectively managed through the organisation's learning platform.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering Learning & Development, training or capability-building programmes within complex organisational or technology transformation environments.
  • Strong understanding of learning design, training delivery, learner engagement and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, schedules and stakeholders within large-scale programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing external vendors and training providers, including performance and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking, interpreting and reporting learning metrics and outcomes.

Desirable

  • Understanding of Cloud technologies and platforms, particularly AWS and/or Google Cloud.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, technology adoption or organisational change initiatives.
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent.
