Help Shape the Future of AI

This short project offers practical exposure to AI evaluation workflows and contributes directly to improving how AI systems understand real spoken language. This role involves interacting with an AI agent through voice calls to help ensure accurate speech understanding and transcription quality. You will participate in controlled calls with an AI agent. The goal is to evaluate how well the agent understands spoken language in natural scenarios. Training will be provided, and it will be compensated if the project tasks are completed. Your recordings will be used solely to generate transcriptions for intelligibility review. Your voice recordings will not be used to train, develop, or appear in any product.

What You’ll Do

  • Make scripted and unscripted calls with an AI agent (you will complete 10-15 conversations).
  • Produce clear, natural speech following provided guidelines (each conversation lasts about 5 minutes).
  • Test and validate the AI’s ability to understand and interpret speech, and report any issues with intelligibility or misunderstanding (10-15 minutes per conversation).

What We’re Looking For

  • Native-level fluency in Newcastle English (Geordie)
  • Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify accent.
  • AI Specialist background is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with speech recording is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking clearly and naturally in a variety of prompts and scenarios.
  • Must sign a consent form before beginning the project.

What We Offer

  • Timely, reliable payments.
  • Access to additional project opportunities through our TrainAI Community, where we regularly source contributors for similar tasks.
  • A short, flexible engagement ideal for gaining practical exposure to AI evaluation workflows.
