Overview
As a key member of the Strategic Systems & Enterprise Services Leadership Team, this role demands a trusted advisor who can shape strategy, align stakeholders, and drive outcomes with clarity and confidence. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with customer‑success or account‑management expertise—empowering them to influence senior leaders while delivering results independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Solution Design & Assurance
- Analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions.
- Oversee solution design and assurance across major technology programs, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
- Collaborate with Transformation Architects to ensure investments support strategic goals.
- Drive Innovation & Strategic Initiatives
- Identify and deliver technology-enabled opportunities to optimize costs, grow revenue, and mitigate risks.
- Develop strategic artefacts such as capability models, roadmaps, and customer journeys.
- Guide Agile Teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams of Business and Senior Business Analysts to deliver continuous business value.
- Guide agile teams through solution delivery, ensuring outcomes are aligned with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Engage with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice and influencing decision-making.
- Build strong relationships across business units to ensure unified standards and governance practices.
- Strategic Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous operational enhancements.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience of Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Business Partnering.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Deep understanding of business architecture frameworks and artefacts.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes.
- Proven ability to navigate complex organisations and drive change.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level transformation programmes.
