This role is hands‑on. You'll be close to both clients and stakeholders; defining success for your products - working with AI enabled developers to experiment, rapidly iterate and drive out ambiguity so we can build successful products at pace.

You'll be great at partnering with UX, defining & prioritising requirements. You'll have access to the AI tools that you need so we can minimise the number of hand‑offs from client to code. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, customer focus, and strategic thinking. Familiarity with the IP Market or experience in large corporate R&D departments would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a product area covering both existing products and new AI‑enabled opportunities.
  • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
  • Turn business goals and customer problems into clear priorities, roadmaps, and product decisions.
  • Lead discovery and experimentation for new product opportunities, including prototyping and customer co‑creation.
  • Improve core products by identifying opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, adoption, and commercial value.
  • Partner closely with engineering and UX to deliver intuitive, technically sound solutions.
  • Work with AI‑enabled teams to shape trustworthy human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
  • Use customer insight, usage data, and commercial understanding to guide decisions and trade‑offs.
  • Support launches, adoption, and customer communication with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Success Measures

  • Valuable product improvements and new capabilities launched with clear impact.
  • Strong customer feedback and increased adoption.
  • Faster validation of new AI‑enabled product opportunities.
  • Better product decisions, stronger prioritisation, and clearer outcomes.
  • Effective collaboration across product, engineering, design, and commercial teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, workflow software, platform products, or tech‑enabled services.
  • Experience across both core product management and new product development.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to turn user insight into product direction.
  • Good technical fluency and confidence working closely with engineers on software, data, integrations, and AI‑enabled workflows.
  • Experience working with generative AI products or AI‑assisted workflows.
  • Strong UX instincts and experience partnering closely with design.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to connect user problems to business value.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and able to make clear trade‑offs in ambiguous environments.
  • A self‑starter who is comfortable working at pace with low bureaucracy and modern ways of working.

Useful But Not Essential

  • Experience in legal tech, IP, patents, document‑heavy products, or other trust‑sensitive domains.
  • Experience with workflow automation, case management, or operationally complex products.
