RWS is seeking a Finance Intern to help support the finance team with day-to-day accounting, reporting, and analysis activities. This role provides exposure to core finance processes (e.g. treasury, group reporting, tax, shared services) and offers an opportunity to develop practical experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will report into the Group Financial Controller but be assigned to each team as appropriate.

In joining RWS’s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world‑leading provider of technology‑enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. RWS has growing revenues of over £750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Stephen Lamb, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. We cover a footprint of over 100 legal entities in 43 different countries worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury
- Update intercompany loan agreements
- Support the preparation of daily cash reporting and cash management
- Support in the completion of bank KYC requirements
- Support the simplification of the treasury banking environment
- Group Reporting
- Support the Group Reporting team during the year‑end audit process
- Assist with preparation of the year end Annual Report
- Finance Technology Team
- Support ongoing finance projects including e‑invoicing, ERP standardisation and reporting improvements
- Other duties – any other duties assigned as required in performance of this role.
