RWS is expanding its network of expert linguists for long-term collaboration on high-impact patent translation projects. We are currently seeking freelance translators and proofreaders to support ongoing work with some of the world’s most innovative technology brands. We are particularly interested in linguists with subject-matter expertise in Chemistry, though we also welcome professionals with experience in other technical patent domains.
This freelance opportunity allows you to contribute to impactful projects that support global innovation while working flexibly from anywhere. If you have solid experience in patent translation, a passion for precision, and strong communication skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Job Type: Freelance Collaboration
Requirements:
- Native-level proficiency in English and German
- University degree in Chemistry or engineering discipline and/or a degree in translation
- At least 2 years of experience in patent translation
- Familiarity with CAT tools, especially Trados Studio
