About the Role

We are recruiting experienced Sound Technicians to join our technical teams at sea. The Sound Technician will support the entertainment department by operating and maintaining all audio equipment on board the ship to the highest standards.

  • Operate the audio and AV systems for production shows and live entertainment programs on a nightly basis.
  • Work with the latest technology to support the delivery of the program.
  • Set up band equipment and assist in the strike and build of theater sets for each production.

Skills and Experience

  • At least two years of proven experience mixing live sound in a theater environment.
  • Knowledge of QLab, DANTE, and working with timecode is essential.
  • Confidence in mixing audio for 8-10 live vocalists, a live band, multi‑track playback and in‑ear monitoring.
  • Experience enforcing health and safety procedures and working as part of a ship‑wide team.
  • Previous sea‑going experience is desirable.

Contract Information

  • Contract period: 6 months with competitive pay, all meals, and single occupancy cabin (varies by client cruise line).
  • All applicants must hold valid STCW certification (or be willing to obtain) and an ENG1 or PEME seafarer medical certificate.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
