JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the EVP, Sea Production, the VP, Sea Production (UK) has responsibility across a growing client list in the global sea production department, particularly focused on client account management, systems integration, financial strategy & execution and global alignment of processes & platforms. This role is also responsible for studio operations for the sea production studios in Milton Keynes, as well as wardrobe operations and technical operations for their client base. As an industry leader in cruise, this role is expected to establish new relationships in the industry that result in new business for RWS Global. They serve alongside the VP, Sea Production (US) as the #2 to the EVP, Sea Production, stepping in to lead the global department, as required.
KEY TASKS Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversees client budgets, delivery and standardization, tracking and reporting; responsible for building sea financial reports to present to executives and the sea department
- Strategic planning, organizes workload, road map, blueprint for ongoing project management, directly managing Director/Account Leads, to ensure success
- Oversees global policies & procedures for Sea Production department, in partnership with VP, Sea Production (US)
- Ensures department leaders execute effective onboarding & training for full time and Seasonals/Freelancers, as needed
- Identifies and implements efficiencies in process, with particular focus on systems and platforms (i.e. Wrike, AirTable, Box, etc)
- Positively impacts long‑term department growth by connecting with potential clients through innovative outreach, attending vendor trade shows and connecting via trade associations
- Effectively works in short timelines to create necessary reporting on projects for leadership team
- Partners with VP, Sea Production (US) to oversee Sea changeover schedule and staff tracking
- Positively impacts overall morale and develops team into effective, accountable professionals
- Continually manages workload distribution within their team resulting in excellent project execution and equitable workloads across team
- Involved in Sea new build to assess feasibility of remounts and know what is needed
- Initially creates Sea new build budgets in collaboration with Executive Creative team and other internal stakeholders
- Client contracting and invoicing
- Division distribution based on project scope
- Travel to all projects as necessary
- Oversight of creative/operational output
- Client relations
- Escalated resource for projects and daily operation, directly manages Director/Account Leads; empowered to serve as final decision on sensitive client needs
- Day-to-day management of Studio Operations in Milton Keynes
- Day-to-day management of Wardrobe Operations for assigned clients, working with internal and external resources to uphold quality and identify efficiencies, resulting in improved margins and quality delivery
- Day-to-day management of Technical Operations for assigned clients, encompassing onboard operations, technical maintenance and capital projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree - Degree in Theatrical Production or related field OR 5+ years of comparable executive experience in the cruise entertainment industry
- Experience - 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, production management, operations management, systems & integration, or a combination is required
- Leader of People – Strong leadership ability, managing large and diverse teams effectively with a proven track record for success
- Organisational Excellence – Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders efficiently.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring compliance with documentation, payments, and scheduling
- Communication & Coordination – Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with performers, crew, agencies, clients and internal teams
- Problem‑Solving Mindset – Quick thinking to resolve travel, payroll, or logistical challenges
- Financial Acumen – Experience with budgets and expense tracking.

- Financial - Experience managing a global financial portfolio
- Technology - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with database and project management software preferable.
- Travel - A flexible schedule allowing for approximately 20% international travel
- A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel‑related roles.
