About the role
We are recruiting experienced Stage Managers to join our technical teams at sea!
As a Stage Manager you will take charge of the scenery, props and operate the stage automation and performer flying controls for our nightly productions.
You will work with the latest technology & equipment and lead the backstage team together with the Entertainment Technical Manager.
Skills and experience
- For this role you must have a stage management qualification and/ or relevant professional experience in a similar role at sea, in professional theatre or touring environment.
- Experience building and maintaining stage sets, scenery and props in a theatre environment
- Experience in operating and maintaining stage automation control systems and aerial performer flying systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of health and safety procedures and safe working practices within a theatre environment.
- Good understanding of basic sound and lighting operation
- Good understanding of basic IT and computer skills
- You must be fluent in English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous sea-going experience is desirable.
Contract information
The contract period for this role is minimum 6 Months with competitive pay, all meals and single occupancy cabin.
All applicants must hold valid STCW certification (or be willing to obtain these) as well as an ENG1 or PEME seafarer medical certificate.
