Chris is an Associate in our Employment team. He is based in our Bath office and joined the firm in January 2022. He advises clients on all areas of employment law. His detailed knowledge and understanding of contentious areas of employment law extends from dismissals to discrimination and contractual claims. Additionally, his expertise extends to include non-contentious work, including contracts, policies and other internal HR affairs. His reputation with clients has been built on combining his professionalism with his friendly, supportive and pragmatic approach.

Chris studied Law at the University of Winchester, graduating in 2012, after which he went on to complete his legal studies in Bristol with his LPC Masters in 2014. Prior to joining RWK Goodman, Chris spent three years with a law firm in the South West, qualifying in 2016, following which he worked as an Employment Solicitor at a regional law firm in the West Midlands for five years.

Chris undertakes all types of employment law work for his clients including:

  • Settlement Agreements
  • Grievance and disciplinary issues
  • Contracts, policies and procedures

Chris also works closely with James Sage in the firm’s Health and Social Care Team, providing expert legal advice to clients including children’s service providers, dental practices, GPs and pharmacies. Advice and assistance extend to allegations of whistleblowing, discrimination and restructures, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
