Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg / Telemetry Unit (Part Time Days) Req #: 47388 Category: Medical / Surgical Nursing Status: Part-Time Shift: Day Facility: RWJ Rahway Department: Medical-Surgical Unit-III Location: RWJUH Rahway Hospital, 865 Stone Street, Rahway, NJ 07065 Job Description: The experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical-Surgical Unit III provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. The RN ensures safety in practice, adheres to evidence-based principles, and maintains professional development. Responsibilities include reporting safety issues, understanding the patient population, delegating patient care appropriately, acting as a preceptor when needed, and collaborating effectively with healthcare team members. The RN individualizes care plans, participates in at least 50% of staff meetings, and engages in unit or hospital-wide committees and performance improvement activities.
