The Revenue Cycle Quality Review Representative acts as both an auditor and trainer, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in Revenue Cycle processes. This role is responsible for evaluating workflow compliance, identifying areas of improvement, and developing standard and targeted training programs. The Revenue Cycle Quality Trainer is responsible for providing training, curriculum development, project organization and implementation, as well as quality assurance functions across the Revenue Cycle enterprise at all locations. The incumbent will be knowledgeable in all end-user systems and applications relative to Revenue Cycle management for the purpose of educating and training Revenue Cycle staff on systems and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business or healthcare related field preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in quality, training, or healthcare administration preferred.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve quality issues and errors.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in all MS Office Products.
Essential Functions:
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. Identify and resolve quality issues and errors in the revenue cycle. Develop and implement quality improvement plans.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing staff on revenue cycle processes, policies, and procedures. Conduct one-on-one training and provide ongoing support to staff. Identify training needs and develop strategies to address them. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Support to Leadership Team: Acts as support to leadership team to oversee and ensure overall department methodology, strategy and objectives are met. Coach and mentor existing and newly hired members of the team as needed.
