Application Analyst III Req #: 0000198559 Category: Information Systems and IT Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Facility: RWJBarnabas Health Corporate Services Department: IT&S Orders/Providers/IC Location: System Business Office, 2 Crescent Place, Oceanport, NJ 07757 Job Overview: The Application Analyst III is responsible for supporting the design and build of the designated application, including workflows, system configurations, change documentation, and operational support. They work independently with minimal supervision, serve as a knowledge resource for junior analysts, and handle installation, upgrades, and configuration tasks. They coordinate customer support activities, create and execute test scripts, troubleshoot issues, and support implementation and maintenance activities. They also provide on-call support during go-live and ongoing maintenance. Qualifications: Required: Associate\’s degree with four or more years of relevant experience. Ability to support and mentor others in application development. Experience working with the specified customer base. Capability to handle moderate complexity work independently. Preferred: Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of prior system build experience. Scheduling Requirements: Full-time Day shift Essential Functions: Application Design and Build: Design and build the application, coordinate with operations, utilize external resources, review workflows, and implement technology solutions for workflow enhancements. Build data fields, screens, templates, and functionalities. Collaborate on training alignment, oversee application modifications, and maintain build standards. Application Support: Provide go-live and post go-live support, handle complex issues, support documentation, and share knowledge. Act as a resource, validate work, and stay updated on industry trends. Documentation and Communication: Maintain communication with customers, document decisions and issues, support governance, and communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. Project Management: Recommend process improvements, develop future state materials, manage smaller to medium projects, and ensure adherence to change control processes.
