About the role
- Gain valuable knowledge of how Operations & Maintenance concepts are developed for future wind farms, considering strategic, technical, environmental, societal and commercial factors.
- Evaluate emerging O&M technologies and methodologies for potential use in future wind farms.
- Visit operational sites and, after completing basic training, travel offshore to gain first‑hand insight into day‑to‑day offshore wind operations.
- Actively support the team across a range of O&M concept activities.
- Take ownership of a project relating to an O&M concept for a developing wind farm or an emerging technology.
Job requirements and experience
- Current enrolment in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or another relevant science or engineering degree.
- Eligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree course.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate workloads independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Confidence working in a diverse team and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required, with travel expenses covered.

- A minimum of five years’ residence in the UK due to the potential requirement for National Security Vetting.
