RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. – To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent – Functional area: Administration. The business support administrator will be based at our Rampion site in Newhaven. This role ensures the Operations Facility is safe and suitable for 50+ staff to work from, and supports the team in administrative, logistical and procurement functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of office facilities, external areas and warehouse fabric, including:
- On-site administration of facilities management contractors
- Maintaining facilities-related operations procedures
- Administration and ordering of stationery, office/IT equipment, etc.
- Administration of video conferencing equipment and encouraging its use
- Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements
- Manage implementation and recording of the site security regime
- Support the Business Support Coordinator with general administrative support, e.g. arranging meetings, coordinating meeting room set up, supporting team travel arrangements, taking minutes, arranging catering, etc.
- Recording work relating to the building in SAP PM
- Act in roles such as Fire Marshall and First Aider
- Work weekend shifts when needed to minimise building disruption.
Administration and record keeping of a number of warehouse systems. Maintenance of the site security equipment and systems. Provide coverage within the warehouse as staffing requires, including goods intake, stock movement and other tasks (including forklift and crane operation). Act as Site Environmental Champion. Contribute to team wellbeing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated organisational ability and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and resilience.
- Ability to self-manage within the scope of decision-making.
- Ability to work with corporate procurement/finance management systems.
- Good all-round IT proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Good level of Health and Safety experience.
- Understanding of the requirements of facilities management.
- Knowledge of waste management.
- Brand awareness.
