Overview
In this role you will lead the Station Management Team at King’s Lynn Power Station, directing the Operations Department to run safely and reliably while driving continuous improvements. You will manage resources and engage with key stakeholders to meet site objectives and deliver operational excellence. The position focuses on safety, reliability, and performance within RWE’s portfolio, offering opportunities to shape the site's culture and outcomes. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role at a growing energy company.
Responsibilities
- Direct line management of 5 staff; indirect line management of ~10 staff
- Safe and reliable operation of King’s Lynn Power Station; manage relationship with CAO
- Delivery of the Site OGSM Objectives
- Lead on Operational Excellence implementation in key areas
Key requirements
- Management experience within a station/plant environment
- Qualification in leadership/management or engineering discipline; professional body membership
- Ability to handle changing priorities
- Attention to detail; methodical, analytical, and well-organised approach
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation/regulations
