What is our mission?

We, RWE Supply & Trading (RWEST), are RWE’s connection to the world’s energy markets. With headquarters in Essen, Germany, our tight-knit around 2,200-strong team’s drawn from over 90 countries, and operates Europe’s largest and most advanced energy trading floor – trading a mix of electricity, gas, other commodities, e. g. coal, freight, oil, weather derivatives and biomass, as well as CO2 emission allowances. We also ensure the commercial optimisation of RWE’s power plant dispatch and market electricity from renewables.

Our RWEST Early Careers Team manages all non-technical Early Careers programmes – including Graduate Programmes, Year-in-Industry Placement Programmes, Internships and Apprenticeship Programmes – across the various operating companies within the RWE Group, helping to nurture the next generation of industry professionals.

We empower all our apprentices, placement students and graduates to make a big contribution – supporting your development and encouraging your ambitions.
