About the role:
Join RWE Supply & Trading’s Accounting division and play a visible, trusted role in supporting a fast‑paced global trading business. Working as part of the Settlement & Banking team, you’ll help ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations by providing reliable coordination and administrative support across leadership, team activities and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support Accounting leadership and the wider team with core coordination activities such as calendar management, meeting organisation, travel arrangements, expense submissions, events and offsite planning.
- Act as a key point of contact for the Swindon team on day‑to‑day operational matters, including travel and transfer arrangements, workplace queries, sickness forms, and ad hoc coordination with Facilities on topics such as accommodation bookings.
- Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes (JML), helping to ensure Day 1 readiness through the coordination of access, hardware and onboarding activities, using tools such as JIRA, IDAM and Fileserve.
- Handle administrative and operational processes across the function, including purchasing and payment activities such as purchase requisitions and orders in Ariba, as well as goods receipt notes.
- Contribute to a range of accounting‑related tasks across our accounting teams, including confirmation processes with external auditors.
Job requirements and experience:
- Highly organised, articulate and detail‑oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced trading environment, balancing multiple priorities and tight deadlines with resilience.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, combined with a proactive, self‑starting approach and a strong sense of ownership.
- Demonstrates discretion and handles confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- A collaborative team player who builds trust across functions, values inclusion and contributes to a respectful, feedback‑oriented working environment.
