Acting as the primary commercial representative for RWE’s O&M major campaigns service provision to wind farm projects, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering commercial strategies across a diverse portfolio of offshore wind farms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead pre‑contract activities: negotiate jack‑up barge and subsea service agreements with third‑party vessel owners for standalone and framework contracts; review tender submissions and align agreement terms.
- Lead negotiation of commercial major campaign packages with joint‑venture wind farms where RWE holds or will hold an ownership stake; develop positions reflecting risk allocations and RWE’s margin targets.
- Create and market new commercial products for the offshore wind portfolio; understand costings, risk allocation, profitability, and target marketing to suitable joint‑venture projects.
- Deliver post‑contract activities: up‑skill and hand over operational elements; establish feedback and escalation loops.
- Challenge RWE’s financial performance for O&M major campaigns contracts; partner with finance to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Resolve disputes and commercial issues with stakeholders (site management, Legal, Offshore Operations Portfolio Management); lead O&M customer claims and link them to supply‑chain claim positions.
Qualifications:
- Several years of offshore wind experience, preferably in contract or commercial management of major O&M campaigns or service contracts.
- Advanced understanding of offshore wind logistics, contractual and commercial terms.
- Knowledge of complex O&M service offers and delivery models.
- Highly numerate with strong verbal reasoning skills; demonstrated by a degree or relevant career experience.
- Experience in contract structuring, risk evaluation, and delivery within the energy industry.
- Analytical problem‑solving approach.
- Effective communication skills, able to engage external and internal specialists.
- Process development skills to manage contractual obligations across multiple service agreements.
- Willingness to travel (primarily UK/Central Europe) and spend limited periods offshore.
Advantageous but not essential:
- Advanced understanding of controlling and finance management principles.
