RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate & Transactions Law to start as soon as possible, full time, permanent.
About the role:
- You will be one of the key legal advisors for transactions related to international Offshore Wind projects, focusing on project finance, joint ventures, and M&A, as well as managing corporate matters.
- Advise and support the business in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
- Work across the international business of RWE Offshore Wind, alongside other members of the RWE Offshore Wind international Legal Team, engaging with other business functions to deliver a holistic and streamlined service.
- Manage organizational and coordination tasks, including process optimization, with a high degree of complexity and independent professional decision-making skills.
- Advise the business on day-to-day matters, including financing, operation of joint venture partnerships, and post-acquisition integration.
- Coordinate external legal advice when needed and provide support in related dispute resolution situations.
Job requirements and experience:
- Qualified as a solicitor (or similar common law jurisdiction) or as a lawyer in one of the other possible locations.
- Several years of relevant working experience in project finance, joint ventures, M&A transactions, and corporate law in an international law firm or company, with a focus on renewables (ideally Offshore Wind).
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks, taking on new responsibilities, and setting task priorities in a deadline-intensive environment.
- Good commercial, technical, and strategic understanding along with analytical skills.
- A solution-oriented mindset that allows you to find the right legal and business solutions in complex scenarios.
- Strong customer orientation paired with established negotiation skills.
- A high level of engagement and flexibility.
- Ability to work and communicate professionally and accurately in a time-sensitive setting.
- Enjoy working in an international team and are open to occasional travel.
Advantageous but not essential:
- The capability of conducting negotiations in a further EU language.
