RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering an intern placement at RWE Offshore Wind, providing invaluable insight into the offshore wind sector. Our procurement team plays a critical role in ensuring we have the right quality parts and services at the right time and price, keeping our wind farms operating efficiently.

About the role:

  • Experience across the whole procurement lifecycle, including:
  • Undertaking supplier pre-qualifications
  • Preparing invitation to tender documents
  • Analysing and evaluating tender returns from suppliers
  • Attending supplier meetings
  • Using our SAP system to raise purchase orders and contracts
  • Assisting with category strategies and contractual documents

Job requirements and experience:

  • Undergraduate studying supply chain, operations management, business, law or engineering, with an option for a full year in industry placement in your penultimate year.
  • On track to gain a 2.1 or higher.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Clear and professional communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to co-ordinate workload, be highly organised, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of basic Microsoft packages (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and eager to develop skills in stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to travel and attend meetings at other sites and offices in the UK and potentially Europe.
