To start as soon as possible, full time / part time, permanent. Join Energy Transition Investments (ETI), RWEST’s in‑house private equity fund, and help shape how capital is deployed across the energy transition. In a small, highly empowered team you will take end‑to‑end ownership across investments, from origination through execution to portfolio development. With direct exposure to senior stakeholders and access to RWEST’s market intelligence, you will turn insights into high‑impact investment decisions.
About the role
- Lead and execute transactions end to end: from screening and valuation through due diligence and negotiating transaction documents.
- Manage and develop portfolio companies, support capital raises and strategic initiatives to drive value creation.
- Support investment lifecycle decisions, balancing risk and return while protecting RWEST’s interests.
- Lead origination and market analysis, building pipelines by leveraging RWEST’s market intelligence and network.
- Manage internal stakeholders: prepare board materials, liaise with support functions and drive decision making.
- Oversee and coach associates and graduates, fostering a high‑ownership team culture.
Job requirements and experience
- 6–10 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate finance with a proven track record of executed transactions.
- Advanced financial analysis, valuation and deal execution skills from term sheet through close, with sound judgement under pressure.
- Ownership mindset – you take decisions with confidence, follow through, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong collaborator who acts as #TeamRWE – shares knowledge and builds trust across functions and geographies.
- Comfortable in a flat, entrepreneurial environment – adaptable, hands‑on, and ready to assume a wide span of responsibilities.
Advantageous, but not essential
- Sector experience across power, utilities, resources or adjacent energy transition verticals.
