RWD is searching for an outstanding Senior FF&E Designer to join our award-winning yacht design studio. Our Senior FF&E Designers listen carefully, think uniquely and know how to bring a client's vision to life with precision and soul. You will lead multiple projects simultaneously, drawing on deep experience in luxury yacht, aviation or high-end residential interiors. Your knowledge of materials, finishes and craft is comprehensive; your strong network of global artisans and your commitment to materiality, sustainability and exceptional design runs through everything you do.
From selecting furniture, materials and finishes to creating engaging and outstanding client presentations, you’ll be at the centre of the interior team. Leadership comes naturally to you. You guide projects with clarity, mentor those around you, and help the team work as one – bringing out the best in junior and mid-weight colleagues while contributing to the wider culture and direction of the studio. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, the Head of Interiors, internal teams and external partners to keep schedules and budgets on track whilst delivering projects to the highest standards to our international clients.
HOW YOU'LL HELP SHAPE OUR PROJECTS
- Lead the FF&E process end-to-end – from developing unique design concepts to on-board installation and quality sign-off
- Curate exceptional furniture, materials and finishes, and present them to clients with clarity and confidence
- Collaborate closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers and Procurement to keep quality, budgets and schedules on track
- Oversee the production of bespoke items
- Champion sustainable design at every stage – making it an easy, considered choice for clients and leading by example within the team
- Mentor and support junior and mid-weight team members, identifying opportunities for their growth and contributing to a positive studio environment
- Stay ahead of industry trends through fairs, supplier relationships and a constantly evolving knowledge of artists, craftspeople and material houses
- Represent RWD with integrity – upholding our values and actively contributing to how we work and grow as a studio
THE SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Proven FF&E experience across luxury yacht, aviation or high-end residential interiors, from concept through to completion
- An extensive knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and art – paired with a strong network of unique suppliers globally
- A genuine commitment to sustainable design and its real-world impact
- The ability to lead a project team with clarity, anticipate risk early, and know when to escalate
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, MS Office and Excel
- Excellent time management and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
