RWD is looking for exceptional candidates for an Internship within our Owner’s Supply Procurement team. If you are a highly organized individual who enjoys a spreadsheet while also having an appreciation for design and quality, then read on.
The procurement intern will gain experience in all aspects of Owner’s supply procurement in the yacht industry, which will help begin to lay the foundations for a career in FF&E procurement with potential opportunities for ongoing employment within our team, subject to personal performance and vacancies.

The Procurement team helps ensure the smooth delivery of every FF&E element of an RWD project, supporting our turn‑key service and contributing to RWD’s vision of being the most inspiring yacht design studio in the world. With broad exposure across design, project management and finance, the team has a strong understanding of products, materials and how they come together onboard a yacht. As procurement managers, they are naturally organised, solution focused and meticulous in their attention to detail. Their work spans everything from supplier relationships, purchasing and quality control to shipping logistics, budgeting, financial reporting and hands‑on support during onboard installation.
About You
- You can think on your feet, are naturally organised and meticulous in attention to detail whilst maintaining a high-level overall view.
- You have a keen interest in design and an eye for aesthetics, with previous experience in the luxury sector, buying, FF&E, finance or logistics being a plus.
- You have “a head for numbers” and an interest in budget management.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating successfully with suppliers and showing effective problem-solving skills.
- You have good spoken English and can work in the UK.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Support the procurement team with gathering product information, samples, lead times and pricing.
- Assist with creating purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities and delivery details.
- Help track order progress and keep the procurement manager up to speed on any changes.
- Assist with budget tracking by updating specification spreadsheets with pricing information.
- Support the procurement team with the admin related to storage, insurance, shipping, customs, and on-site deliveries.
- Working across all departments to prepare client presentations.
- Assist project team with organizing and managing incoming and outgoing shipments in the studio, including international shipments in preparation for client presentations.
- Attend supplier visits and cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
