POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute daily duties and stakeholder interactions in line with the SPIRIT Values.
  • Adhere to the four business culture values.
  • Learn all technical aspects of the markets and products necessary for business growth.
  • Identify product and market synergies for new business development.
  • Create a sales target strategy within the agreed timescale.
  • Work independently on target acquisition and completion.
  • Develop operational and time management plans on a 12-month cycle.
  • Represent RWC on applicable trade bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market and technology advancements.
  • Work with customers to develop NPD/NPI that deliver expected results.
  • Facilitate engagement with key customer stakeholders and RWC.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts at all levels.
  • Prepare to hand over accounts to the relevant sector manager once at an agreed level.
  • Develop a strong value proposition and present to new customers.
  • Exceed budgeted sales figures and keep Salesforce.com updated.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline efficiently.
  • Achieve personal KPIs and engage in peer coaching.
  • Complete monthly reporting in a timely manner.
  • Support the UK Fluidtech team in wider initiatives as necessary.
  • Identify and communicate process changes that may benefit the team or organisation.
  • Comply with all current work instructions and health, safety & environmental regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Strong working knowledge of the OEM market in the UK.
  • Experience with valves, fittings, or pipe is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of sectors such as agriculture, modular building, leisure vehicles, water processing, or automation is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience in new business development and knowledge of the sales cycle.
  • Ability to take ownership and work autonomously when required.
