Job Purpose

To manage the existing Drinks Dispense Sector and identify, strategise for, and execute a plan to win additional business in adjacent sectors.

Position Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily duties and stakeholder interactions in line with the SPIRIT Values.
  • Adhere to the four business culture values.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Drinks Dispense market in the UK.
  • Learn all technical aspects of the markets and products necessary for business growth.
  • Identify product and market synergies for new business development.
  • Create a sales target strategy within the agreed timescale.
  • Work independently on target acquisition and completion.
  • Develop operational and time management plans on a 12-month cycle.
  • Represent RWC on applicable trade bodies.
  • Ensure knowledge of market and technology advancements is up to date.
  • Work with customers to develop NPD/NPI that delivers expected results.
  • Facilitate engagement with key customer stakeholders and RWC.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts at every level.
  • Develop a strong value proposition and present to new customers.
  • Present strategies and results to senior internal stakeholders confidently.
  • Work closely with commercial colleagues within distribution customers.
  • Adopt a creative, innovative 'Can do' approach to customer acquisition.
  • Execute journey planning efficiently in both time and cost.
  • Achieve and exceed budgeted sales figures.
  • Keep Salesforce.com updated with all activity, account, and contact data.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline ensuring new opportunities are progressed efficiently.
  • Achieve personal KPIs and request any necessary development support.
  • Engage in peer-to-peer coaching and take a leadership position when needed.
  • Support professional growth in peers and junior colleagues.
  • Complete all monthly reporting in a timely manner.
  • Keep the business updated with market developments.
  • Support the UK Fluidtech team in wider initiatives as necessary.
  • Use all IT and software provided for efficient work practices.
  • Identify and communicate process changes that may benefit the team or organisation.
  • Comply with all current work instructions and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Carry out any reasonable task within capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of the UK Drinks Dispense and OEM market, particularly Beer Dispense and OEM Equipment, Water, and Soft Drinks.
  • Understanding of dispense install methods and equipment.
  • A strong network in drinks dispense is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience of new business development and knowledge of the sales cycle.
  • Ability to take ownership and work autonomously.

Required/Preferred Qualifications/Education

  • Engineering qualifications are advantageous.
