RW Cars Ltd is a well-established used car retailer with over 20 years of industry experience. We retail between 150 and 200 vehicles every month and pride ourselves on providing an excellent customer experience.
We are looking for an organised, customer-focused and proactive Aftersales Advisor to join our friendly Aftersales Department in Derby.
The Role
As an Aftersales Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for customers who need assistance after purchasing their vehicle. You will help coordinate repairs, manage customer enquiries and ensure every interaction is handled professionally, efficiently and with care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Support: Handling customer enquiries by telephone and in person, providing clear advice and a professional, friendly service.
- Repair Coordination: Booking vehicles into garages for inspections, diagnostics and repairs, and liaising with repairers to keep customers updated on progress.
- Problem Solving: Supporting customers experiencing vehicle issues, investigating concerns and helping to find practical solutions.
- Administration: Maintaining accurate customer records, updating internal systems and managing paperwork, filing and other administrative tasks.
- Communication: Keeping customers informed throughout the aftersales process and working closely with the sales team, workshop and external repairers.
- Vehicle Photography: Photographing vehicles and uploading images to our online sales platforms when required.
- Teamwork: Supporting the wider business to ensure a smooth, professional and positive customer experience.

- Confidence working in a busy office environment as part of a team.
- Good general knowledge of cars and the motor trade, which would be an advantage.
- A full UK driving licence, which is essential.
Previous experience in an aftersales, customer service, automotive or administrative role would be beneficial.

- Competitive salary starting from £29,000 per year.
- 31 days of annual leave, with 28 days available to book at your discretion.
