About the Role
We are looking for an interim Tax Reporting Manager to assist with all aspects of tax accounting, reporting, compliance, and control. You will join ZPG and assist the Group Head of Tax and Group Tax Manager with all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, including working with advisers to progress corporation tax computations and returns, assist with progression of R&D claims, P11D and PSA reporting, quarterly VAT returns, and manage internal queries. The role covers all taxes (corporation tax, VAT, and employment taxes) within the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with our advisers to progress preparations of corporation tax provisions, tax consolidation workings, R&D claims and corporation tax returns for all our corporate entities
- Calculate CT quarterly instalment payments across the Group
- Work with the ZPG Tax Team to liaise with auditors on all tax‑related queries
- Work with the ZPG Tax Team to liaise with HMRC on routine tax‑related matters
- Review quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare monthly/quarterly withholding tax filings
- Assist in ad‑hoc queries from the business (for example, queries relating to IR35, PSA’s, P11D’s, VAT and withholding taxes)
- Work with our legal and finance teams to reduce the number of legal entities in our group structure
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor tax calendar to ensure that all Group companies’ filing requirements are timely
Qualifications
- ACA qualified (or equivalent) and/or CTA qualified
- Experience in an in‑house tax environment
- Responsibility for tax reporting and compliance
