We are looking to add an experienced Electrical Installation & Maintenance Trainer to our Ulverston centre. You will deliver, assess, and support learners in Electrical courses up to level 3.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Electrical Engineering courses up to and including level three.
- Develop and maintain current Electrical Installation and Engineering course material, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
- Assist in assessing, changing curricular needs, and offers plans for improvement.
- Maintain effective and efficient record‐keeping procedures (e.g., ILP).
- Review course content and delivery methods regularly.
- Ensure learner performance goals are met.
- Document learning evidence accurately.
- Provide one‐to‐one/group feedback and support to learners.
- Assist in overall development of the training centre.
- Assist in delivery of course material outside the subject of Electrical Installation & engineering.
- Prepare and assist in internal and external audits.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Lead Trainer.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students.
About You
A successful candidate will have proven experience in Electrical Installation and Maintenance. You will also:
- Be competent in domestic or industrial installation & maintenance; ideally hold your 18th Edition.
- Hold a level three qualification in Electrical Installation and NVQ or AM2.
- Have sound knowledge of Electrical Installation & Electrical engineering principles.
- Possess good numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with learners, employers, and other professionals.
- Hold a Full driving Licence – may be required to deliver training from our Workington and Carlisle centres.
