RVT Group is recruiting a Mobile Field Engineer to join our talented teams in Sheffield, Dartford and Aylesford. In this multi-disciplined role, you'll support our technical engineering installations, primarily on our Envirohub Water Treatment systems (including general temporary heating and ventilation) around the UK. Ensuring our equipment is functioning optimally and providing expert advice and support to our clients in the field will be paramount. We're a specialist hire company with a unique consultative approach. We have been operating for over 30 years and are an ethical company that genuinely cares about the long-term health of people and the environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site technical engineering installations on Envirohub equipment
- Liaise with and instruct site agents on the appropriate use of our equipment
- Support the general LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) installs team as and when required
- Manage the commissioning and testing of water treatment systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to clients' problems
- Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness and accurate records of maintenance and service activities
- Work closely with the project teams to ensure project milestones and timelines are met
- Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on job sites
Please note: occasional overnight stays may be required.
Requirements
- 3 years of construction/site experience
- Electrical and/or mechanical-related NVQ Level 3
- Water Treatment Experience (Lamella, Chemical Dosing, Water Monitoring, etc.)
- CSCS/ECS card
- Knowledge of LEV systems
- Health & Safety certification, e.g., IOSH/SSSTS
- Review Risk Assessments
- Basic understanding of occupational health hazards
- Water Hygiene Card
