We are excited to welcome a new Marketing Team Leader to RVT starting on 2nd January 2026!
As our current Team Leader transitions out in mid-March, you will spend the first two months immersing yourself in our processes while gradually taking the reins of projects and team management. From mid-March onwards, youβll take full ownership of all Team Leader responsibilities, with ongoing support from the Marketing Manager as needed. You will be at the helm of a dynamic team of five.
Responsibilities
- Planning: The Marketing Team operates in 90-day sprints. You will receive strategic direction from the Marketing Manager and ensure effective distribution of the quarterly marketing plan among team members, along with guidance for LinkedIn, e-shots, and advertising materials.
- People Management: Conduct weekly team huddles, regular one-on-one check-ins, quarterly reviews, and manage team leave requests. Facilitate team motivation through brainstorming sessions and team-building events, and assist with the recruitment of new hires.
- Targets: Monitor team performance daily and adjust strategies to meet targets and address underperformance.
- Big Projects: Oversee bigger marketing projects. For example, our current Team Leader has ownership of the new website design and launch.
- Approval Process: Approve all content produced by the team and handle purchase requests.
- Reporting & Admin: Ensure timely submission of the monthly marketing report by the 5th of each month and manage marketing administration tasks as needed.
We also have an office in Aylesford that you will need to travel to at least once per month. On occasions you may also need to travel to events and other offices around the UK.
- Weβre seeking an experienced individual who can support all team members, no matter the project at hand. Our marketing team is exceptional, and itβs crucial that they have confidence in your skills as a marketer.
- A Marketing Degree or a high level CIM qualification or a Design qualification would be advantageous, but not essential if you have experience.
- We use HubSpot, Canva, and Monday.com daily and would prefer a candidate who has experience with all three.
- People management skills.
