We're looking for a skilled Refurbishment Specialist (Vehicle Sprayer) to join our busy Aylesford workshop. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the quality, safety and presentation of our hire equipment by preparing, spraying, and finishing a wide range of equipment. Your work will ensure our customers receive equipment that's reliable, safe, and looks great, helping us maintain our strong reputation in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing equipment for paint, including cleaning, sanding, masking and basic repairs
  • Spray-painting equipment using appropriate materials and techniques
  • Refurbishing returned hire assets to company standards
  • Identifying damage or defects and reporting issues
  • Carrying out basic mechanical or cosmetic repairs where needed
  • Maintaining paint booths, tools and equipment
  • Following all health, safety and environmental procedures (including PPE use)
  • Working efficiently to meet turnaround targets
  • Keeping accurate refurbishment records

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience as a paint sprayer (automotive, industrial or plant)
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and spray techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good awareness of workshop health safety

Desirable

  • Experience with hire, plant or construction equipment
  • Basic mechanical or fabrication skills
  • Forklift or plant machinery certification
