R&V is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing trunking assignments across multiple depots. Job Description for HGV Class 1 Driver * Trunking work. * Deliver goods to specified locations in line with the delivery schedule. * Complete all paperwork accurately and thoroughly. * Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all health, safety and hygiene standards. * Maintain a good working knowledge of transport operations. * Effectively manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Working Time Regulations. * Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures. * Ensure proofs of delivery (PODs) are signed and returned to Transport after delivery. * Meet fuel-efficiency targets set by the business. * Any other duties as reasonably required.
