Job Description
R&V is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing trunking assignments across multiple depots.\\nWe value our people and offer a friendly working environment, a focus on developing your skills, and competitive pay.\\nJob Description for HGV Class 1 Driver\\n * Trunking work.\\n * Deliver goods to specified locations in line with the delivery schedule.\\n * Complete all paperwork accurately and thoroughly.\\n * Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all health, safety and hygiene standards.\\n * Maintain a good working knowledge of transport operations.\\n * Effectively manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Working Time Regulations.\\n * Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures.\\n * Ensure proofs of delivery (PODs) are signed and returned to Transport after delivery.\\n * Meet fuel-efficiency targets set by the business.\\n * Any other duties as reasonably required.\\nEssential Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver\\n * Minimum of 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience.\\n * Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence, valid CPC and Digi/Tachograph card.\\n * National Insurance number.\\n * Right to work in the UK.\\n * Good level of English.\\n * Flexibility with start times.\\nWhat We Offer for HGV Class 1 Driver\\n * Ongoing work.\\n * Weekly pay.\\n * 24/7 on-call support for all drivers.\\n * Flexible start times
