Job Description:
- Moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas, and yard locations.
- Safely coupling and uncoupling trailers in line with company procedures.
- Supporting yard operations to ensure smooth and efficient vehicle flow.
- Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks.
- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork for trailer movements.
- Working closely with warehouse, transport, and planning teams.
- Adhering to all company rules, health & safety policies, and hygiene standards.
- Following tachograph rules and working time regulations where applicable.
- Any other yard or shunting duties as reasonably required.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years shunting or Class 1 driving experience.
- National Insurance Number.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence (Category C+E preferred).
- Good level of English.
- Flexibility with working hours and shift patterns.
