R&V is looking for Class 1 drivers for a well-known and respected company. We really value our people and offer a friendly working environment, a focus on developing your skills and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities include:
- Trunking work / Shunter
- Placing empty trailers onto doors at the beginning of shift
- Delivering Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule
- Observing and adhering to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
- Maintaining a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
- Effectively managing own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Ensuring proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving
- Full UK driving licence
- Good level of English
