Rutronik Racing is looking for you as a motivated Workshop & Equipment Manager (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Remchingen, Germany.
This position is ideal for someone with extensive motorsport experience who is looking to remain closely involved in racing while taking on a broader technical and organisational role. You will play a key role in ensuring that our workshop, equipment, and technical infrastructure are fully prepared to support the team, while also contributing to the smooth execution of our racing activities. In addition, you will attend race weekends, where you will support operations, oversee the technical setup, and help ensure everything runs efficiently both at the circuit and back at the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage, prepare and maintain all racing equipment and technical infrastructure
- Ensure all equipment is fully functional, serviced and raceready for test and race events
- Organize, inspect and maintain tools, pit equipment, garage equipment and support systems
- Manage inventory, spare parts, consumables and technical materials
- Coordinate servicing and repairs of motorsport equipment and workshop infrastructure
- Prepare and pack equipment for test and race events in close cooperation with the race team
- Support the preparation of equipment and materials for test and race events
- Monitor equipment condition and continuously improve storage, maintenance and preparation processes
- Support the organization of the workshop and ensure a clean, efficient and structured working environment
Qualifications
- Technical qualification (mechanics or a related field) or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of professional experience in international motorsport (e.g. GTWC, DTM, WEC)
- Strong technical understanding and excellent mechanical aptitude
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Experience handling professional motorsport equipment and workshop infrastructure
- Strong team player with a handson mentality, reliability and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, fluent in English
