Veterinary Nurse Vacancy – full time 40 hours

Exciting Opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our team at Rutland Veterinary Centre Oakham.

Within this position you will be rotating throughout the working week between inpatient, theatre and consulting roles, our nurses can get involved in a varied caseload of small animal work.

We pride ourselves on providing our own out-of-hours service. With dedicated night nurses, there are no weeknights on call in this role. However, participation in our 1:5 Saturday and Sunday rota, along with an equal share of bank holidays is expected.

Our full-time nurses work 40 hours, 4 days a week on an 8:00am – 6:00pm or 8:30am – 6:30pm shift pattern with paid lunch breaks, plus 1:5 weekends. This allows for a good work-life balance which is essential in maintaining the high demands of veterinary life.

Package includes:

  • No nights on call during the week or weekends, however you are expected toparticipatein the shared bank holiday rota.
  • Salary: £15 – 15.50 per hour dependent onexperience
