Summary This position coordinates and promotes the Vermont Prevention Lead Organization (VPLO) grant objectives and activities for substance abuse prevention within the Rutland and Addison County Regions.

Working with a variety of community agencies, the PLO Coordinator will be instrumental in combining regional resources and agencies to facilitate a community-based approach to collaborate, plan, communicate, implement, and report out on activities and events supported by prevention grant funding.

Timely documentation and reporting, in conjunction with grant requirements, are also within the scope of this position.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in public health, prevention or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three to five years of community experience involving public health and preventative program development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation.

Valid Driver’s License.
