We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and execute a proactive sales strategy across one or more hotels within Brightstar’s portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is key for driving revenue by developing and nurturing key business relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and maximizing corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sales. This role is ideal for a confident, ambitious, and commercially savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in hospitality sales. You will be the face of the hotel in the marketplace, working closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional financial performance and build long-term client relationships.

Objectives of this role:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue and exceed targets.
  • Identify and secure new corporate and MICE business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Enhance the hotel’s presence within the marketplace through networking and proactive sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to maximize sales opportunities and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Provide accurate reporting and analysis to support business growth and decision-making.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Research and identify new opportunities within the corporate and MICE sectors.
  • Actively pursue new local corporate business and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients to ensure sustained revenue growth.
  • Conduct sales presentations, site visits, and networking events to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to establish profitable pricing strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop and nurture existing client accounts to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate and MICE clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the hotel General Manager and Head of Sales to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and market insights to the Senior Management Team to inform strategic decision-making.

Market Positioning & Brand Awareness:

  • Increase hotel visibility through active participation in networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and key market influencers.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:

  • Prepare and present accurate sales reports, tracking performance against targets.
  • Provide market analysis and insights to inform revenue management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of company-wide sales initiatives and local marketing activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, with a strong understanding of corporate and MICE business development.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and hotel booking platforms.
