As a Linen Porter at Rutland Hotel, Sheffield, managed by Brightstar Hospitality, you support the smooth running of the hotel by ensuring linen, towels, and uniforms are delivered, stored, and managed efficiently. You work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the hotel. Hours: Weekends approximately 8:30am – 2:30pm, with the potential for additional overtime shifts during the week.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout all public areas of the hotel
  • Sorting and organising linen into designated cupboards
  • Carrying out quality checks on linen
  • Stripping guest rooms and removing dirty linen
  • Restocking housekeeping supplies and linen
  • Assisting with ad hoc room cleaning when required

Full training will be provided in:

  • Public Area cleaning (PA)
  • Linen Porter duties (LP)
  • Room cleaning procedures

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
  • Flexible and willing to assist where needed

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given.
