Objectives of this role:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout guest rooms and public areas.
  • Complete housekeeping tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and to schedule.
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel are safe, hygienic, and well-presented.

    • Conduct deep cleans or special projects as assigned.
    • Ensure laundry and supply areas are tidy and well-stocked.
    • Follow hygiene and safety guidelines in all tasks.

    • Use supplies and equipment efficiently to avoid waste.
    • Help identify opportunities to reduce costs without affecting quality.
    • Support guest satisfaction by maintaining spotless rooms and facilities.
    • Prevent loss or damage to hotel property through careful handling.
    • Help drive positive guest reviews by ensuring comfort and cleanliness.
    • Manage time effectively to maximise room turnaround.
    • Protect hotel resources through responsible use of cleaning materials.

    • Adhere to health & safety, fire safety, and COSHH procedures.
    • Promote environmentally responsible practices, including recycling and energy saving.
    • Ensure secure handling of lost property and guest belongings.
    • Treat all guests and colleagues with fairness and respect.
    • Report any concerns or incidents promptly to management.
    • Act with integrity and discretion in all guest interactions.
    • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards including any hotel-specific brand standards.
    • Complete all E-learning and mandatory training within required timeframes.
